The USC Iovine and Young Academy, founded by Jimmy Iovine and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young, and SoLa Impact’s SoLa Foundation teamed up to bring an after-school program and fellowships to students and young adults in South Los Angeles, while also introducing them to careers in STEAM. The product innovation program is part of the SoLa Foundation’s Materials Science and Engineering Lab initiative and is taking place at the SoLa Tech & Entrepreneurship Center Powered by Riot Games at the SoLa Beehive.
