Students in south Los Angeles receive hands-on experiences at the SoLa Impact Material Science & Engineering Lab on the SoLa Impact/Beehive campus. Fueled by Howmet Aerospace Foundation with curriculum through the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy, the new lab offers students the ability to bring innovation to life. The Academy’s curriculum trains K–12 students for careers in integrated technology, design, and product innovation.
