Jimmy Iovine and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young have partnered with Atlanta Public Schools to provide students at Frederick Douglass High School with a new style of secondary curriculum centered on entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, and design. The Iovine and Young Center (IYC) offers interdisciplinary learning opportunities to help students harness creativity and revolutionary ideas. It prepares them to solve real-world issues. IYC students are set up to succeed in postsecondary education or competitive careers in the modern technology job marketplace. IYC Atlanta is scheduled to open in fall 2024.
