On March 19, 2024, Andre “Dr. Dre” Young received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Jimmy Iovine and others spoke at Dr. Dre’s induction ceremony. Jimmy called Dr. Dre “…the greatest partner, friend, ally you could possibly have.” Jimmy met Dr. Dre during his tenure leading Interscope Records. Jimmy and Dr. Dre went on to co-found the USC Iovine and Young Academy, the Iovine and Young Center and Beats Electronics.
