Jimmy Iovine and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young are pioneers in education and have transformed what interdisciplinary curriculum looks like. In 2013, they founded the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. The Iovine and Young Center opened in Los Angeles in 2022, added a second location – in Atlanta – in 2024, and has plans for an upcoming location in Inglewood. These learning frameworks help un-silo the traditional education structure and prepare students for the modern-day tech-focused workforce.
